I'm Iris Ríos, but many know me for the flavors of "Gianna's Sweets". I was born in Mayaguez, PR., but I grew up in Aguada and when I turned 18, I moved to Aguadilla.
I studied at the University of PR... But my passion is born from the constant interaction with my grandfather and father who were cooks. That's why I decided to prepare myself and got a degree in "International Cuisine" from the Puerto Rico’s Banking Institute.
My best critics are my 4 children. The youngest who is 4 years old is called Gianna and she is the one who inspires the name of my business... "Gianna's Sweets", in which we offer to the public, 100 percent Puerto Rican desserts (and other delicacies). I invite you to awake your palates with the recipes that I will share in order to engage and experience new flavors.
